Physical Momento on offer for ISOWC 2021 Champion
It's not just a cash prize that will be awarded to the winner of the ISOWC 2021. In partnership with George Simmons (Apex Racing Team), we are delighted to be able to offer our champion a custom 1/18 diecast of their Dallara IR-18!
A considerable amount of work goes into each of these units, with George working to transform the iRacing Paint Templates into printable decals that can be applied to the cars. George has become known for his work in the sim racing community with custom diecasts, most recently working through a number of models for the BS+ Competition team, including the eye-catching #Zebring BMW M4 GT4 that involved custom body work being made for the front and rear of the car!
George is not unfamiliar with the challenge of producing a custom Dallara IR-18 after having completed a model earlier in 2021 for RaceSpot's own Arjuna Kankipati. While this model sported the superspeedway configuration of the IR-18, new for 2021 is a road course configuration diecast - pending availability, our chanpion will be able to choose between the two configurations at the conclusion of the season.
This is of course in addition to the the total prize pool totalling to $7,000. The ISOWC 2021 Champion will take home $1,500 of the $4,350 championship pool with drivers as low as 30th still recieving a payout. In addition to the championship pool, each of the first five races will pay out $355 to the top 10 finishers, awarding $100 to the race winner for a total of $1,775 in 5 races. An additional prize pool of $875 will be on offer in the ISOWC 500 with the race winner taking home $250 meaning a perfect season would award the champion $2,250.
